The product title on HD is a bit misleading. I don't think the drill/driver are brushless.

I agree. I tried to write the post title in such a way that I wouldn't mislead people here.

Have the 18g Brad nailer and its a life saver. Love it for small projects rather than lugging out my loud compressor and hose

What an odd combination. Just need a hammer and you've solving driving any fastner.

I just used mine to nail baseboard.... Takes 2pulls of the trigger to shoot nail but sometimes...it just won't shoot. Removing battery and reinsert makes it work. Normal?

I've never had that problem. Try a full charge next time or a different battery.

So i've definitely had this same problem with mine when I use the 4ah batteries that I had from a previous deal. It doesn't think the batter is sitting in the nailer fully; however when I switch to the 6ah batter that came with the gun I have never had that issue. The 6ah is a newer released battery while the 4ah battery is an older release so it's possible there are slight variances that allow the 4ah a little more wiggle room when attached to not be completely seated.

Regardless unseating the batter and reseating it solves the problem 100% of the time on the 4ah battery.

Good question. I believe it's not a hammer drill.
One of the pictures says it's a hammer drill/ driver, but the description on HD reads like it's a normal drill/ driver. Also, a customer in the HD Q&A says he/she expected (b/c of that picture) but did not receive a hammer drill.

Return it. Home depot has a 90 return window. it doesn't shoot like his life saver so..... on to a better one that's a life saver and works!

It's this drill that it comes with, not a hammer drill.

I was iffy about getting the set since I didn't need the drill, but it's actually not bad since it is a bit smaller and lighter than my Gen5x drill so it's a nice addition.

Had the same issue first time I used it last week to put up some beadboard. It was like it had to prime before each shot. I don't remember if it was a fully charged battery and I think was one of my older 4ah. Next day I was messing around with it and set it to contact actuation mode instead of single, with a freshly charged either 6 or 9ah octane battery, and it rapidly plowed a dozen nails in no problem- just worked like it should.
