Avelo Air One-Way Airfares $19 On Select Routes / Select Dates - Book by March 12, 2023

Avelo Airlines, an ultra low cost air carrier have $19 one-way airfares travelling in select markets and select date(s). There is no seat selection and no carry-on bag allowance. You may bring a small personal item that fits under the seat in front of you. Additional fees for carry-on and checked bags, advanced seat selection and other optional services may apply.
Avelo doesn't charge a fee to change your flights, but you'll have to pay the difference in fare if the new flight costs more than your original trip. You can change or cancel your flight up until 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

They charge for everything.
Still cheaper and easier than driving 1K miles each way.
If you want to compare to other budget airlines like Spirit and Frontier, Avelo comes out on top hands down. Spirit has lots of cancellations or departure time changes without warning and can have not-so great-customer service. This is NOT the case with Avelo. They don't nickel and dime you as much as spirit, the staff are ALWAYS friendly, and I have never had any major issues when flying Avelo. If you fly first class on the reg, this airline is not for you. But if you don't mind flying economy, this airline is definitely worth a try.
The ONLY downside that I have found with Avelo is that they don't have flights every day (i.e. they only fly between PSC and BUR on Tuesdays and Saturdays). Other routes might be different but is likely similar for the smaller cities they service.
Also, out west they only have 2 or 3 planes. If your flight is cancelled you might not be able to get out for several days since they don't fly daily on most routes. I had a flight cancelled and they could only offer me a flight 5 days later or a refund. I took my $29 refund and had to buy a walk-up $300 ticket on another airline. Luckily I was able to claim on my credit card travel insurance.
