I was at Target in SoCal looking at their OLED display lineup and noticed that they had a price tag advertising the 65" LG OLED B2 as $1,099.99 + Tax... definitely a pricing error - YMMV

I looked it up on the Target app and it's currently listed on sale at $1,599.99 with a regular price of $1,899.99, however the store was OOS (of course). I asked an employee to check the inventory at nearby locations and drove to another Target where they had the TV in stock, but the price tag had it listed correctly on sale at $1,599.99.

Without mentioning the incorrect price tag at the other location, I had an employee pull the TV from the back and ring it up, sure enough it rang up at $1,099.99. I also added the 3 Year TV protection plan from Allstate and was out the door with taxes for $1,307.74.

The deal was so SLICK, I picked up two of them!

TL; DR: Target has the LG OLED65B2PUA 65" TV incorrectly priced In Store only.

Dragged my daughter to the Commack Target for her employee discount and got the last one. Thanks!
If your TV sits in a brightly sun lit area, then you may consider C2. It is 10-15% brighter than B2. Otherwise not worth it. B2 is a great TV.

Picked one up in milwaukee for 1099. A few other stores in the area have 1 in stock. Thanks OP! Had 2 signs for the same TV, one for 1599 and one for 1099, rung up 1099.

The C2 is around 300+ more than this B2, is it worth the upgrade?

Definitely a good deal. I'm not sure I would say it is for sure a pricing error. I bought a 65" C1 with Evo panel at Thanksgiving for about $1070, and we have seen the B2 for a similar price before.

As for the question on whether the C2 is worth another $300, it kind of depends on what you're going to do with it. Probably not for most people. If you're just going to watch cable news all day or a lot of SD content that needs to be upscaled, then the C-series may be worth the difference. If you're watching 4K content, then definitely not.

I don't think it's a pricing error. I'm guessing that there is going to be a price drop almost everywhere on both B2 and C2 models since LG is releasing their 2023 model TV's at the end of the month.

You can use the Target.com website to check stock from various nearby stores. If in stock, just order online for pickup and have them adjust the price using the photo above. Good luck.
