i usualy am very nice, apoligize, and say:
i realy like this laptop.. but didnt think the tax will add so much.. (like basicly i am trying to get the CA tax that i got charded back)
i dont want to return it, if they can do something to help me..
usualy give em a number.. like Monday ill say:
Can you make it close to $1,200? (i paid $1,350 so im trying to get the max - 10% so arround $135 back would be optimal) or will put me in overdraft and will be charged $50 fee..
If you can will be awesome.. if not ill have to cancell the order and look for something cheaper..
Works every time.. they are allowed to give some money back, or if you cancel it just shipping both ways will cost them alot with UPS and FedEx.. probably same amouth they give you back

if you were asking about the 10% codes Dell sends, no i dont have an extra one, and only takes 2 minutes to register on the site i provided you with a link in the OP
they will send you a code in few minutes.
the few Alder Lake laptop with i9-12900H/i9-12950HX+RTX 3070/RTX 3080 running win11 that I tried at brick and mortar would always freeze the whole thing momentarily (2-7 seconds) whenever you log-in, switch user or launching browser. sometimes when switching browser tab as well. they also randomly do mini freezes when I tried to mimic normal daily usage like watching youtube videos where fan starts to go crazy after the mini freeze
the similar spec laptops I tried with Tiger Lake + RTX 2070 didn't have this problem
