I used to have Thermos bottle. It came with a plastic cup covered by the lid. I needed it because liquid was hot. Now i have 32oz overpriced Hydro flask. I pour boiling hot tea. Within 2 hours it's comfortable temperature to drink straight from the bottle. It does stay warm longer but i had to microwave a cup by evening, and the next day in the morning i had to heat up in microwave again. I don't use ice and don't expect cold liquid to stay cold long in the summer. About the same as costco thermoflask/takeya. I only bought hydro flask for the lid.

I love these, but how do you guys get rid of beverage smells from these? Like these tend to take on a coffee smell, or if I mistakenly leave water in it for a week or something and it starts smelling moldy, I can't figure out how to get those smells out
