Last time I bought a refurbished laptop from microcenter, it would not even post. I would not buy unless you have a location nearby.

Paid $700ish on EBay for same machine. Nice laptop ran hot but after a few tweaks seems stable.

Not bad, That's a lot of power in the CPU and RAM plus a really nice screen. Of course, that GPU, even after updates is not even matching a mobile 3050. So don't get this for more than casual/older gaming.

I have one on the way. You can't beat the specs for the price. The cooling limits the hardware by about 12%. I'm going to add an egpu for home gaming. I want a low end GPU so the battery life will be better. The same specs but with a top tier GPU is around $1600.

Mine was ordered from best buy.

The A370M sucks around 5-10W doing nothing which about halves the battery life. Turn it off in the BIOS for much better battery life. This kind of profile is no good for dGPU anyway. The biggest problem is that this laptop will not wake from suspend in Linux.

This has excellent reviews online. I took a chance and bought one for my son who is going to college in the fall and is going into chemical engineering and needs a laptop with these specs. The school tries to sell you a Dell with the same specs for almost twice this price. Hope this works out for him.
