looks like the difference is that there is no built in video camera on this. I already own a Eufy doorbell so I could already see who's at the door, but I guess having it together with the lock is probably more convenient since I think you can remotely unlock this from far away.

Curious what current owners think of this? I've seen some mixed reviews about the battery life. Also, Curious if it works with Home Assistant.

I just installed mine so can't contribute much on the battery life.
For HA I'm going to try the instructions from here. https://github.com/fuatakgun/eufy_security
The docs list this lock as working so hopefully all goes well.
It doesn't look like the lock is supported by the official integration https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/eufy/

Mine has been installed since March 2021 and I still haven't changed the batteries. Says I have 2 bars left still too, so I'd say life is pretty good. But I don't have auto lock turned on and lock it manually a lot.
