I have a few of these in 128gb that I got around Black Friday for 9.99. They work great and haven't had any failures in some security cameras and also in my drone.

An OK deal if you need 256GB on a flash. I am buying 64GB U3 speed rated cards for $1.99 each on Aliexpress though. I'd rather have four of those for eight bucks than one of these for $18.

Most likely to fail within 12 months. Would not trust serious data on it.
Samsung has a utility to identify fake microSDXC cards, which mitigates the risk of buying from Amazon and their poor inventory/quality control system.
I would have no issue using this this for a switch. Its rated A1 so its defo made for device Application speed. I use the PNY Elite-X Card and that a little slower rated than the PNY Premier card. That Elite-X card spped for both Write and Read exceed the manufacture specification at 55MB write, 92 MB read. has 1150 IOPS write and 1500 IOPS read.. A1 Instruction Operation Per Second is 500 write and 1500 read so yeah its good.

Clarification, IOPS stand for Input/Output Per Second as rated for Apps speed. As a Computer Tech guy I look at it as Instruction Opps Per second.. for me its the same thing..

Why would you assume that? I didn't even name the brand yet. The brand happens to be Somnambulist they are a real brand, and they also sell on Amazon. They sell SSDs too. The only thing it Slickdeal doesn't get their cut, i.e. "We may get paid by brands or deals, including promoted items. ". Not saying they are Samsung or Western Digital but it's a real brand not generic. They are U3 speed that's for sure.
