The description says 500lb weight capacity for the workbench, 30lb per drawer. Husky standard duty workbench is 2500lb, 100lb rated drawers.
I have the cabinets. They are pretty flimsy and you have to assemble them. Good for the money but not heavy duty.

Anyone have these? I need a new 72" chest and have had my eye on a husky that's between $1198-1300. This seems like more for your money but curious on quality of drawer opening etc. Also open to US General

Thanks. I was trying to compare to the normal 20ga husky welded.

I have the upright cabinets and the wall cabinets. They're fine for typical garage stuff like spray paint, motor oil, etc. I think I'd want a better tool cart though (and I went with a Husky for that). Tools weigh too much.

This stuff is more on par with the RTA lines of other manufacturers- not welded HD lines.

Darn I needed to pickup and place 501lbs on my workbench.

I'm sure this could handle it but unfortunately that doesn't include the weight the of everything inside. Quality tools are inherently heavy. One of the selling points of storage like this is mobility and that becomes a problem when castors fail.

and this for the end to complete the book end if you want. 36" cabinet $425

The Seville from what I remember at Sam's club is good for the average consumer who just want something to store stuff. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who actually work on stuff like automotive or woodworking.

I have a similar Seville 72 bench for about 15 years. I have every draw jammed packed with misc medium weight tools (wire brushes, drill bits, clamps, brake tools, angle grinder pads and discs, files, Dremal stuff, drill bits, oils/greases, flaring tools, hammers, tap and dies, compression tester, gear pullers etc) and I have two chock full 30 inch bench top multidrawer tool boxes on top of it (not seville). My heavier compact tools are in the tool boxes (sockets, wrenches, pliers, etc). It has held up well. The Seville drawers are not as strong other box shelves I;ve used but I have more than enough non dense stuff like mentioned above that it works perfect for and it is holding at least 500 pounds of stuff on top of it.

I have the US General 72" and chose it over the Husky. Main reason was the similar price at the time and the US Generals considerably heavier build quality. The US General box was $1200 when I got it and the Husky was around $1100 I think. However, the US General is able to hold FAR more tools. I just recently reorganized my tools and REALLY loaded up some drawers…they open the exact same as they did unloaded. Honestly…I couldn't be happier with it. Unfortunately it looks like the price went up and it's on clearance on their website so hopefully they're not permanently discontinuing it. Might need to decide soon if you want the US General to be an option.
