It isn't advertised but the stand itself, does rotate 180° vertically left or right (portrait view). Unfortunately, the stand doesn't extend tall enough for the screen to clear the base. A suggestion would be to prop the monitor up a few inches.

Also the VESA mounting holes aren't in the center behind the monitor, obviously because of it's thin design. So positioning it in portrait view wouldn't allow it to be balanced well on a monitor arm. Just a few nitpicks but most reviews of this monitor are positive. For the price, it's a good value.

27" 1080p 165hz IPS for $89.25. Perhaps a better option if your gpu won't push 165hz in 2k

This is a good gaming monitor just like it's designed for but it is not good at anything else in my opinion. I think it's the wrong resolution for it's size, it really should be 4k at 32". 27" is a better 1440p size. Because of this fact text and web content doesn't look all that great. I bought it for $200 over Christmas.

Main issue with 4K is u now need a beefy GPU to power all those pixels

You can always reduce the resolution, until you get a better GPU. If you can find a deal on a good 4k monitor.

3 of these would make for a nasty triples for sim racing, but only if you have a 4090, mayyyybe a 4080. My 4080 runs 3 27-1080's in ACC at 140+ fps with everything dialed up. But for just desktop use, 32" really should be a 4k panel. 27 is the sweet spot for 1440p.

Just got this monitor yesterday from MP. Works amazing on my PS5. There is a decent amount of light bleed when the screen goes black but other and that and at this price point you cannot go wrong.

looks like you'll need a VESA offset plate to run this in portrait mode

4k 144hz or more is going to be 3-4 times this price.
