Also the VESA mounting holes aren't in the center behind the monitor, obviously because of it's thin design. So positioning it in portrait view wouldn't allow it to be balanced well on a monitor arm. Just a few nitpicks but most reviews of this monitor are positive. For the price, it's a good value.

27" 1080p 165hz IPS for $89.25. Perhaps a better option if your gpu won't push 165hz in 2k

Main issue with 4K is u now need a beefy GPU to power all those pixels
You can always reduce the resolution, until you get a better GPU. If you can find a deal on a good 4k monitor.
