I've got an Am Pro I (or maybe just Am Pro). The pickups are kind of meh. The guitar plays wonderfully, though. I'm a big fan of the narrow tall frets.

How's this vs the Performer Strat? Picked up one of those for a steal via Adorama a couple years back. I get confused by all these different versions.

No. The majority of Adorama's stuff is brand new. The majority of MF stuff is brand new. But MF/GC will also ship you display models from time to time.

That is correct! Twice I've ordered a brand new guitar, twice they send me a floor display with scratches and dings.

yeah its hit and miss with Adorama. Mine was new. But so many posts on slickdeals of people having to return them.
