    Reviews show this is in the class of WORM-candidate drives, ie write performance is horrible but reads are good, making them good candidates for storing large quantities of data that you read often but write very infrequently.

    These are my favorite cheap drives to store backups of my games for wii and 360. They are cheap and the speed doesn't need to be great. Did I mention they are cheap?

    Its not, m.2 ngff sata + enclosure is the same cost per GB while being much faster.
