    I have had my 70mai dash cam for 3 years on my wifes car and have had no major issues. Mine was 3 years old when it craped out in sunny san Diego whether so definitely worth the 35 bucks i paid for it. Im getting this one for a replacement on my wifes.

    is this safe to use with the kit it recommends to use? as I saw a review that stated it missed with his car computer, and do you need the kit to make this work? doesn't it have built in battery?

    OK, as someone who owned one of these cameras, and the higher resolution one as well, do not buy these if you live in a hot environment. I live in the sunshine state, and the battery in this swelled up and split the plastic casing apart. I dont know about you, but I prefer my cars to not burn to the ground from a battery that combusts.
