And it's still more expensive than old mobil 0w40 price. I love inflation. I can't wait for more with 2 trillion bailout!

This oil is MS-12991 rated. Perfect option for the Ram 3.0L Eco diesel. Im willing to bet its the same oil as the much more expensive Pennzoil 5w40 euro

what's the shelf life for engine oil? i just changed mine, and would like to buy one if it has a two years or more shelf life.

Bare minimum 5 years, if kept closed container in a relatively stable environment it should last much longer. Many reports of 10, 20 year quarts of unopened oil samples being just fine.

This oil is on sale at my local Menards for the same price plus an 11% rebate. They also have Fram oil filters on sale for $1.99 plus rebate.

Uh, this is the everyday price at Walmart. I've had to service a few VWs that needed 5W-40. I can say for sure it's been this price at least a full year. All of the other viscosities are the same price also.

Not slick folks.
