    Not everything in a wok needs to be cooked on high heat.

    I have a SS chef's pan which is halfway to a wok, and not having to deal with the post cooking maintenance is nice.

    I have a carbon steel wok as well.

    A saucier is a fantastic pan for many things. A wok is not a saucier.
