Hammer drill + Freak impact driver/wrench (a 2 in 1 tool) + 2X 2Ah batteries, isn't bad at all, considering it's a brand new set with full Bosch warranty .

I'm sure this is a great set but I don't think this impact driver can compare to a standalone impact wrench imho

I can't keep the various iterations of The Freak straight but many feel they're under powered. I have one of the first versions and I'd generally agree. My advice: if you don't need the square drive, skip it and look for a 1/4 impact driver. If you do need the square drive, specifically for lugnuts: look elsewhere. I believe the Dewalt DCF899B gets good marks.

Pretty much what cdmcc said, impact wrenches have a lot more torque than an impact driver (which is for driving screws into wood). If you are taking lugnuts on and off every day for work-> get an impact wrench like the Dewalt cdmcc posted about.

If you are a casual DIYer you can buy higher end tools if you want but I'd say Ryobi would be more than enough

This "impact wrench" is embarrassingly weak and is basically useless for that purpose. Torque Test Channel on Youtube did a review of it.

To be clear, it wasn't designed or marketed for that purpose. But people see a 1/2 square drive and automatically assume it's suitable for lugnuts.

Yes, it's for sure that this thing is not intended to be used as a regular impact wrench. In the comments of a Freak review video from Torque Test Channel, someone mentioned that the 2nd gen Freak (18V-1800) is strong enough to remove lugnuts. I could be wrong because I'm new into power tools.

Showed OOS a few hours ago but apparently Amazon LLC just restocked them.

It's better to get a proper M12 stubby than these. Big and weak is all I can say.
