Possibly a price mistake? A good price for a used 5700 XT on fb marketplace around me is $160-$180. And it looks like the RX 580 is now listed at $99. Maybe the $99 price wasn't supposed to be for the 5700?
I have picked up 1 for $100 and a few for $125 on fb marketplace
Then you bought below current market value, which is one of the great things about fb marketplace...you can get some good deals from someone who just wants some quick cash in their hand. Looking at recently-sold 5700 XT's on eBay, they are averaging $180-$200 shipped.
There are four 5700 XT's on fb now in my area, priced from $155 to $180. If I was buying though, I'd try to talk one down lower.
Anyway, it still seems like $99 shipped was too good of a price, and may not have been intentional. It's no wonder they didn't last. This is, after all, a card that edges out the nvidia 3060 in a lot of games, so there's no reason to sell it for $99.

I'd go with a 5600 by going with a cheaper case/psu.
