I don't know anything about this model, but I know the best cappucino I've ever had was from a home Breville.

Just be aware that you will need a good grinder to make the most of any espresso machine. In the $200+ range to get started.

I'll disagree. I love a good latte and I've had very good results buying cheap af pre ground bustelo. So to say you "need" any grinder to make a great espresso is false. My experience was I saw the biggest improvement when switching from a courser drip to a finer espresso grind. I've not had any desire to spend more money or time when I'm perfectly content.

I myself prefer freshly ground coffee. Call me a coffee snob but it tastes so much better. Takes 15 seconds to grind a double shot and it gives me the perfect dose. And no self respecting coffee shop would use pre-ground coffee for an espresso.

I'll disagree with your disagreement. First, no one said you "need any grinder to make great espresso" but I also disagree with that assertion. Can you make OK espresso with pre-ground coffee? Sure you can! But to make GREAT espresso, as you would get made by someone who knows how to pull a shot, with freshly gound beans, and good equipment? Nay. Not even close.

Just because you are perfectly content with whatever you are producing doesn't make it great. (but FWIW I place a LOT of value in being ok with X instead of constantly chasing the better Y)

Preferring freshly ground coffee over pre-ground is hardly being snobbish, sheesh.

It's like arguing with people who prefer canned vegetables over fresh (I have known more than one, and they are not in any way ashamed of their preference Big Grin)
