12 gen for $250, I think is a good deal. Hope the screen is not too bad. Will add RAM and upgrade SSD to 512GB.

- 4GB soldered + 1 empty SODIMM slot. Officially said upgradable to total 12GB (4GB + 8GB), but I believe it should have no problem in handling 36GB (4GB + 32GB)
- 14.0-inch, FHD (1920 x 1080) 250nits. Not sure if it's TN, "IPS-level" or IPS
- Fingerprint sensor and backlit keyboard
- 1x HDMI 1.4 is available according to ASUS official page
- Windows S-mode, but could be easily switched out for free with a few clicks
- seems no space for 2.5" drive this time
This is obviously not for gaming with the UHD iGPU, but should be a great deal for a daily driver with a 6 cores (2P + 4E) / 8 threads 12th Gen Core i3 processor, especially if you slot in a 8GB/16GB SODIMM (first 4GB for dual channel) and replace the tiny 128GB SSD (this supports PCIe 4.0).The only downside is no USB-C charging. (no need to mention touchscreen for this price please....)
