This is not a deal if you can build your own computer. If you live near a Microcenter, the total cost to build everything is a little less than $1,600 (includes the recent $500 cpu mobo ram combo). If you're going to drop $800 for a new gpu, there's better value per performance cards especially if you go AMD route

The memory is Kingston Fury 5600Mhz 2X8GB RGB, should be at least $85, and you also need Windows 11 that will cost at least another $120. Then the difference is less than $70 and you still need to build it yourself. If this is not a good deal, what is?

Windows 11 OEM is $99.99 [newegg.com] from newegg currently but these prebuilts use builder key which cost far less. Windows doesn't need activated to download or install and use it and can be downloaded from microsoft [microsoft.com]

But for $100+ saving you can swap to 32GB RAM and 2TB NVMe and all parts have 3+ year warranty while these prebuilts only has 1 year warranty.

Windows 11 Pro keys can be bought for $25 or less on cdkey sites. I've built 4 computers using them for OEM licenses. The OS cost is negligible for those in the know.

Not gonna happen at $2000 anytime soon. At least 2-3 years away for a 4090. 4080 maybe, when they realize $1200 is too much of a cash grab.
