Lowest price in the last year. A great and comfy cot, very large, and my new standard for camping/glamping. regular price 189, I've seen it down around 150.

Great price and good brand but that thing is seriously wide.

Regular price is $150 but good deal. Never see it on sale.

Great cot if you have the space. I highly recommend the matching pad.

It is on sale at Teton Sports as well for $99.00 and the XXL Camp Pad is on sale for $79.00. They offer 60 day free returns so that steered me toward there as I'm not 100 percent sure I need this or not.

I have two of these and they are beyond awesome, but they are very heavy and take up a lot of space.

I am conceptually sold on the Kamp-Rite design that is an all-in-one, with bug net, rain fly, etc. still need to add a cushion of sorts (foam or blow up), but I like the "no need to set up a massive tent" value prop:

Kamp-Rite Oversize Tent Cot Folding Outdoor Camping Hiking Sleeping Bed https://a.co/d/iAl0tQ6

If I were to try to accomplish similarly with the cot in OP, is it even possible? Or will this type of cot always be dependent on a large tent being set up?

I think that would be a solid maybe and depends on your specific skill set. While I like the idea behind the Kamp Right solution, I'd go with a hammock myself.

Looks like a great idea, but damn that's expensive!

Agreed with the hammock idea. That requires you to be camping exclusively near tree cover, no?

I've had this cot for like 7 years now and have used it a couple dozen times. It's definitely sturdy and made with good materials but it's too big for me to utilize while camping on most trips. Now if I do bring it, we just set it up outside somewhere if anyone wants to use to take a nap. It's held up extremely well and works the same as the day I bought it.
