hmmmm so Save 1K but one less year of warranty and no connect wifi module. I don't think Jura offers extended warranty for non-commercial use, but wonder if one can be purchased elsewhere.... I've used my E6 last 3 years with no issues but tempted to upgrade.

is it plastic made? plastic and hot water not healthy...so wonder if the inside material is plastic, or anywhere that water is passing by is metal (stansteel)

Did you have a Jura machine that stopped working? I just traded my Jura Z5 in on a Z10. My Z5 (I believe it was purchased in 2005) needed a repair and they offered to refurbish it for a flat fee or give me a credit towards an E8 or an S8 or a Z10. I've had the Z5 refurbished once before and they returned it to like new. I made at least 3 lattes a day on my Z5 that are much better than that big name coffee place. That's a lot of money NOT spent at that coffee place. If you buy coffee drinks out, a machine like this may pay for itself quicker than you think. Just do the math for how you buy coffee drinks. Also, If you don't drink cold brew coffees, the S8 can do everything else that the Z10 does for much less.

It would be a short list of coffee or espresso machines that don't use plastic. Perhaps prosumer level espresso machines?

Junk..can find cheaper much better machines..Still rocking my trusty Delonghi Rialto from 12 years ago..still makes a great capuccino in the morning.

This doesn't even make sense. You are comparing a Ferrari (jura) to a Lexus (delonghi). I mean I would even say they aren't even in the same category because the jura is a full super automatic and the delonghi is a automatic/manual (depending on the model)
