Charcoal is an odd name for that color. Can't tell what color it really is

That may be true... Not gonna shame anyone if they like wearing it, but my personal experience is that it feels gross. Also, if sweat is a concern, know that bacterias that cause body odor love polyester, that's why you smell your BO so much more when you wear it

Good to know about the bacteria and sweat. I've definitely noticed some brands are worse than others when it comes to smell. I pretty much live in polyester during the summer in GA, so always looking for moisture wicking deals like these ha

Thanks...bought again...I like the 9.5 length of these and the waist holds a golf polo the entire round well. They also tend to not show butt sweat Smilie

Exactly. I made a similar comment in a recent thread for a Woot deal on moisture wicking shirts and trolls replied "try washing your clothes." Lots of morons thumbed that up too. Washing this kind of fabric works until you wear the clothes and they start stinking sometimes within minutes.

Little vinegar and baking soda in the was cycle clears this problem right up. Usually once a month I'll take all the poly stuff and run in it's own cycle like this

I have some 32 Degrees 94% polyester long-sleeve shirts that are amazingly good at keeping me warm in the winter.

Most laundry detergent doesn't disinfect, so there can still be bacteria living in the fabric, i use odoban disinfectant in my wash and it eliminates this problem entirely...

Fyi it's also good to run an empty load on longest/highest/hottest setting, or if your washer has it, self clean mode, with a cup of borax to kill any potential mold and detergent buildup once a month, although the odoban by itself helps a lot with that problem... On top of the regular maintenance one should be doing to their washer.
