There's a difference between actual real value and perceived value from consumers. Nvidia is getting away with highway robbery and fans don't have a clue or doesn't care. Not even a bit surprised by the down votes. 😅

Don't buy Acer in any means! Mine Acer laptop has critical SSD issue within 2 months, and after shipped in for warranty service, they replace my mid-top tier PCIE 4.0 SSD with lowest tier PCI-E 3.0 SSD (write speed ~1000MB/s). After contact them, they said is normal and it is what they always do.
So this company not only sell low quality product, but will also cheat and steal from you.

Good build you've suggested, but lacks a backup drive (to make it comparable) and an OS.
+$139 for Windows 11 Home license
Total: $803.67 (almost $15 more...still without a backup drive, which I know are pretty cheap and can be tailored to the user's needs)

OS is literally free.

1TB NVME> 500GB/1TB HDD

Paying retail for Windows is NOT slick whatsoever.

Go buy a Windows 7 cdkey for $5 and activate 10 with it.

Wow, that's terrible. One of the rules of service is - or should be - that defective parts are replaced with same/similar or perhaps an upgrade. Replacing a bad SSD with a demonstrably inferior part is inexcusable.

You're not wrong. I was thinking that it looked like an okay deal until I read 3050. This would be a fair deal if it was even a 3060, which is a pretty big step up. The 12400 is a solid low/mid-range CPU and would mate better with a nicer GPU.

I also don't know enough about ACER's gaming systems. Do they adhere to standard form factors or do you get cheap proprietary nonsense? Does the case have acceptable airflow or is it choked off?

They said the spec only write PCIE SSD 512GB, didn't specify which generation so they replace 4.0 SSD with 3.0 SSD is fine...
