When combined with an OTG cable this works great to add gigabit ethernet and multiple USB 3.0 devices to the Fire Stick 4K Max. Most similar ethernet+hubs are either USB 2.0 or incompatible with Fire Sticks.

Fire stick is using micro USB which has a 480 megabit per second speed limit, how could you get one gigabit Ethernet speed?

I'm not sure about that, but Amazon recommends USB 3.0 flash drives when adding storage, which is also a requirement for my use (continuous buffering of FHD video for Channels DVR client). Taking the traffic off my wifi is a bonus.

I prefer this one [amazon.com] instead due to it having PD out, but I got it for $12.74 when it was a Prime member exclusive earlier this year.
