I just bought this from Lowes but just want to share how dumb this store is. I bought a Kobalt trimmer and blower back in 2020 and the trimmer broke. Covered under the 5 year warranty (they should fire whoever came up with that) so I called it in, they gave me a return number and said bring it to the store. Brought it to the store with the receipt on my phone showing I paid $150 for it. The customer service agent said they can't find it in the system cause it's discontinued and they can only refund me the sale price. I asked, what's the sale price? She said $399. I said, ok that's fine and you can just put it on a gift card. Walked right to the Ego and bought it.

I know some of y'all are going to scream some fraud BS but it ain't my problem.

Lol no you were honest about it. The fact that someone can't do subtraction and the current model is more expensive. I realized you bought the combo and probably on clearance but they gave you the whole combo price when it was on sale! Nicely done young Skywalker. Math isn't hard people, a 3rd grader should have caught that mistake unless it was replacement cost built into the warranty.

You paid for the warranty coverage. It's not fraud, it's what you paid for.
