Two OS updates remaining (13 took forever, tho), & another year of security updates promised. They way they botched the OnePlus 7 series Android 12 final update makes me not put much trust in them on the final version, tho (fortunately, I was able to block the update, but now I've got no security updates). So, no - I'm not biting unless the 256GB version hits $300 before I find something better.

Android 13 was released in Aug 2022 and I got in Dec for my 8T+. I feel that's pretty quick and better than Samsung, Moto

I had no issues with the OS except a couple of annoying bugs. Solid phone though.

Maybe 9 is still good

What's the best phone around this price range? Should I wait for OnePlus 11 to go on sale? I just got a Poco x5 pro but it has no wifi calling in USA (T-Mobile) which is a deal breaker, and the OS interface is not for me. I really loved OnePlus 6 and wish there was something modern that is similar to that.

Oneplus 10t will be cheaper with similar specs. Or moto edge 30 fusion

Sorry you feel that way. I have a OnePlus 7 pro TMO on Android 11. Best phone I have ever had by far. Least bugs and issues.

That's what I have as well (via Mint) - did you block Android 12, or did TMobile not give you the update? I love Android 11, & with the constant complaints I've read about 12 I decided to block it.

Stay on 11. I updated to 12 on my 7T McLaren and I regret it. Battery seems a bit worse; getting more and more dropped connections; feels buggy. May get the OP11 soon though

I never got the update. I didn't really notice all the 12 complaints but I guess I should look into it.
