What problem is this ultimately solving? If it were a nice looking, stationary fan, maybe. Even then, you could just put a smart outlet on any fan you like or already own and that might cost $10, max. The idea of it being portable makes it plastic and cheaper looking so why do you need it to be smart? If you are taking it around the house, is it really in any place that is so inconvenient to turn on that you can't reach over and do it without voice or app control?
Maybe I'm way off base here and just need someone to tell me how this makes sense for their purposes because I'm just kind of baffled by this one.
