I bought one of these for color accuracy from Costco when they were $249. It's been a great monitor for photoshop work and it didn't break the bank. I've bought a second one for my kids to use. The only bad thing is the speakers aren't very loud.

It's for color accuracy, not gaming
High refresh is for more than just gaming, but why can't I have a color accurate high refresh display?

Just don't mess with the color settings out of the box- it's already as good as it gets.

- The Asus uses PWM to control its brightness, which might not be comfortable to some. The Acer does not per https://laptopmedia.com/review/ac...-price/#p6. A review at https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Conce...B08NBGP
- The Acer's max brightness is 350 nits while the Asus is 300 nits.
- The Acer has 99% Adobe RGB which I understand is better than 100% sRGB on the Asus.
- The Acer is currently cheaper at least for today.
Other differences I see are that the Acer has 2 HDMI ports while the Asus has 1, and the Asus has a VGA port while the Acer doesn't have one.
