Amazon has Tesla to J1772 Charger Adapter - WonVon J1772 EV Adapter Max 48 Amp & 250V AC for Tesla Charger with a $20 coupon applied at checkout. This seems like a really good deal for EV owners to convert Tesla chargers to standard J1772.

This would really only be for someone that had a Tesla wall or mobile charger at home that wants to use it for a non-Tesla EV? What other use case does this have?

Cheap adapter to carry around in a non-Tesla EV if you find yourself at a hotel or something with only Tesla chargers. I have a TeslaTap, same thing but higher quality. Have never had to use it but some people like the insurance.

This is my exact use case. It's insurance to make sure I can charge at Hotels that offer convenience Tesla Chargers. I wasn't going to pay $150 for Lectron but this was cheap enough for me to bite.
