The hardware is decent - this is the newer version of their product after the miyoo mini was having issues sourcing the screen (miyoo mini was smaller sized vs. the miyoo mini plus).
I own multiple of the miyoo mini and miyoo mini plus
(1) You will want to install OnionOS on this and throw away the original SD card / operating system
(2) The unit will be fragile - you will want some sort of case - again reddit can suggest to you cases that fit this... people also make hard shell cases on Etsy from 3d printers
(3) You will want the tiny best set - you can google search it, it will give you a good set up for your SD card for games etc.
(4) You should have some really basic level of ability to follow YouTube video instructions - they will walk you through how to set up, but you should not buy this just to use out of the box - you will want to put OnionOS on it and bring your own games.
After researching a ton on the handheld retro emulators from China -- miyoo mini and retroid pocket are two of the most liked out of the market - I own both and recommend both. Keep in mind the market changes fast with manufacturers putting out new units on a yearly or half-yearly cycle.
Lastly - this product has usually been sold out when people try to buy from Aliexpress direct from the manufacturer. Some sites do buy up a bunch and then resell, but there are fake listings out there and I can't tell you whether this is an authentic listing or not. The product is usually in high demand and sells out quickly from the manufacturers Aliexpress store.
Looks like the aliexpress store right now is showing some limited stock of purple and grey: https://www.aliexpress.

Retroid pocket for N64 / dreamcast / PSP / light gamecube and PS2.... retroid pocket also has a great wifi chip which means you can game stream on xbox cloud games / stream from PC from steam / parsec / moonlight

Just worked for me. It doesn't look like you can stack codes though. So you have to remove any codes that were added automatically (2% or 3% in my case) before you paste the code.
Want an emulator device, not Switch or Steam Deck
