Nah. This needs to be under $80.

Because nobody buys a CPU except to do Windohs gaming, right? G_d only gave us thumbs to handle a controller.
This processor comes with onboard graphics, you don't need to buy a video card, and an iGPU reduces overall energy cost substantially. In CPU performance it slots [cpubenchmark.net] in between the legendary $85 Ryzen 5 1600AF and the more modern Ryzen 5 5600G, except unlike the 1600AF it doesn't require a video card. The all-time low for the 5600G was $110 in December (for maybe a day) and is currently about $122.

For me needing a video card is a major PITA. Since I'm not a gamer I don't have a drawer full of old ones lying around. And I use Linux, really, I want to shun ANY Nvidia card because they refuse to support the open source community and the proprietary drivers in Linux are only supported for MAYBE 8-10 years, after which the card becomes a paper weight or I have to use the buggy open source nouveau driver..

If you need a modestly priced office computer this would fit the bill nicely, though AM4 motherboards have been cheaper in the past. This would about double CPU performance if you are upgrading from a first generation Ryzen 2200G or 2400G.

You are going to hold up your build for $14? SSD and RAM prices can swing twice that far while you are waiting, easily.

What's the GPU performance delta between this and the Ryzen 5700G? This and the 2200G? Eyeing this for an upgrade for my daughter, but only if the graphics update is at least noticeable. She has a 2200G right now; this should drop right in, but so will the 5700G, and I cannot find any good objective indications on whether this or the 5700G will be a marginal GPU upgrade or a measurable step up.
