Good price since my local Giant Eagle jacked up the price of no-salt peas from .49 to .99. The limit seems to be 10 (2 orders of 5).

I checked your link and the only Walmart near me doesn't seem to carry them. Did see that it was available at other stores in the region (Pittsburgh area, North Hills) but they are too far away from me. I did stick it on my watchlist to see if they carry it in the future. I've never seen the no-salt ones any time I've been there, though.

That's surprising, Iive in the SE, the center of world salt overconsumption, so I figured if they had no-salt here, it surely had to be available just about everywhere Big Grin
In that case, grab all you can while you can get them relatively cheap on Amazon! Wink
Once you're on a low sodium diet, all that "Regular salt" stuff starts to taste like seawater... Wink

I think that's like a lot of healthy foods. Once they become a regular part of your diet they can taste better than ovesugared, oversalted and overfatted foods.

Can anyone comment on how they taste compared to Le Seure? I tried Del Monte and they taste terrible in comparison.

Wow, it's funny/amazing how different each person's taste buds are - if you gave me 10 unlabeled cans of 10 different brands of no-salt peas, I could not tell you the difference between them if you paid me a million bucks to do so! They really do taste identical to me.

(Yes, I know that's of no help at all...I'm just rambling...)

I don't think I have...I guess I should...maybe I've just been eating terrible peas all these years and that's why they all taste the same to me.... Frown

(edit: dang those things are $2.58 at walmart for a can! no wonder I haven't had them before. I'll try them, they had better be darn good at that price!!)
