I loved the first Dragon Age, but didn't like the second one. Inquisition feels like they tried to fix a lot of the mistakes from Dragon Age 2, and it mostly works. I played this one when it first came out and really enjoyed it, I plan on doing another play through with all of the DLC and extras that are included in this version.

It's kind of sad that DA:I came out in 2014 and we still haven't had a follow up.

DA:I was a lot of fun, but it does pale in comparison to Witcher 3, which came out at about the same time.

I agree, they are making another one. Dragon Age Dreadwolf, but it isn't going to be released until next year.
