    That's right ears pretty flimsy when I bought one hadn't about a month before the dog knocked into it fell over shattered everywhere but you get what you pay for

    I've had the 3-tier table for a couple years - use it as a printer stand in my home office. Glass is very good quality for price. I doubt it's tempered but it's strong enough to hold a laser printer & a few reams of paper fine.

    It's glass. Obviously it's going to break if it falls. It shattered because it's not laminated safety glass. That's usually reserved for things like vehicles, skylights, and uses where there is greater immediate harm on impact.

    I've had a 4-tier version for 7+ years, it's went through 2 moves (easy to take apart).

    The glass is durable (I'd even say tempered, as I've done drops), the plastic screw-in fasteners/attachers though aren't as robust as one would think (definitely should take apart if transporting/moving it). I need a couple replacements of them as the caps broke-off the screw-in portion (largely my fault for trying to transport it while unloaded).
