I paid $700 (before tax) in March for this. At $560, sounds like a deal to me.

Cons
This item is not returnable. The page says that the item is refundable, but amazon makes it impossible to ask for a refund.
Poor operating instructions andamp; accessories for solar charging. The * are sticky and don't work. If i press it 5 to 10 times really hard sometimes they work. Seldom work on ac output.

reading comprehension is a skill so rare it is almost considered a super power!
Correct if you put a runing gas generator inside the house you will seperate yourself and your family from the gene pool!
What did I mean by better off, well if you are in an apartment in California and just have 4 hour rolling backouts then maybe a "solar generator" could be for you but for any longer instances of of power outages one of these solar generators just wont last long enough if you want to power things like refrigerators and other larger items. Smaller Gas generators can easily power your entire house minus AC or heat, larger ones can even power AC or electric heat! but even a small $600 7Kwatt generator can power everything in your house except the air conditioner indefinitely! There was a wind storm ( downburst) that took out several trees and power lines and power was out at my house for 10 days but up to a month in other locations and I was able to run my house (no AC fans only) off of a 7K watt generator, no way a solar generator would have been able to do that! Sure an off grid $70K solar system could but that isn't what we are talking about here!
Of course a gas generator is cheaper....until you buy the gas. Indefinitely...or at least until the gas runs out or is unavailable. 70k for solar? Last I checked 7000wh was available for about $0.50/wh. But I not counting the solar panels which is fair since you didn't count the gas.
