Huge YMMV. TD's are happening for that reason, and because its a PART that needs to be installed into the counter (ie, not standalone).

Radiant is far and away the worst performing cooking method.
I've measured the glass surface temp at 750*f. And that bakes anything onto the surface to the point where a razor blade is the best cleaning tool.
