To be fair, the site says "3 or more starting at $15." OP was slightly inaccurate. Fanflix often runs sales where a handful of individual titles are above $5.
Self control really needed on this one - had to back off a load of movies in my cart.
Went for the Hobbit series until I can get my hands on the UHD disc to see what all the fuss is about. Good there.
Also went with Chariots of Fire - the physical disc (incl CD) I believe doesn't have the digital copy so I can pick up physical later.
However I booted the rest from my cart
Classics like Doctor Zhivago, Ben Hur, Bullitt - am thinking the blu ray will be just as good as the HD and you can pick up used blu rays for dirt cheap.
Was also thinking Tenet but remembered it's exactly the same kind of 4K + Blu ray + Digital Code disc set that goes on special around Thanksgiving for 5 to 7 bucks including a digital code. Ditto I'm thinking on Casablanca in UHD.
good deal on the Hobbits though - I know it's on every 5 mins for free on TV but this will be higher resolution and without adverts,. Am thinking invite the neighbours, order pizza, chill the beers and have a non-stop Hobbit night. The local cinema when I was a kid used to do the same with the first three Star Wars movies and same with the Indiana Jones series - as I'm getting older I really like the idea - bit fanciful since with kids, getting access to the tv and being able to watch a whole move in one sitting is a rare event but the hope's there.
