Would this be preferred for an S24 Ultra and iPhone 15? Not sure if 35W is "too high" or if that's even a thing.
It's PD compatible which is the standard for fast charging iPhones. That is the phone the majority of American's have. So not sure how 20W is useless?
Plastic is already made though...
Do note that it will give you 35w if you use only 1 port at a time. If you use both ports, you will get 8w & 27w.
What he should have said is that quite likely in the next few generations the charging speed for iPhones will go up quite a bit. Much, much faster charging is available for a variety of android phones for a while now but with iPhones Apple tend to lag in terms of adopting the best tech. Still this is far from useless, you don't need to charge everything at full speed all the time, there are plenty of situations where this could be useful. Still I would personally buy a higher powered one simply as I prefer to have one charger for all my devices, laptop, tablet, phone,...
