I could be wrong but many of the American brand surge protectors are also made there..

I have handled probably 10+ branded Chinese made and 3-4 American branded made in china products, and there is no difference in quality 99% of the time.

Sorry to break it to you but probably 95% of the stuff you use is made in China. We built China and gave them our tech on a silver platter. We paid them to take out tech so quit your crying. It's out fault. Now buy this "junk" so we can prop their economy.

The typical average American doesn't understand most the products in their home come from China. I bet they can't even name a motherboard that was produced in America.

I got one of these that I'm pretty sure is the exact one without the shelf and different name
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1

It's actually kinda cool with the night light. Depending how dark it is, the light has different levels of brightness. So if it's completely dark, the full brightness turns on. If it's a hint of shadow, then just a dim light comes on.

Not sure if this Lion King Mifaso (que the coyote laugh) brand functions the same but maybe it doesn't, who knows.
EDIT: Nvm, it doesn't do the thing I was talking about lol. The one I got before is cooler than this one.

Mifaso has been posted at least 45 times on SD in the past 3 years. Almost all by staff.

The vague disclaimer "If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale"

should be reworded as "They paid us to post this ad"

PS - Several reviews say the charger caught on fire EEK!

I don't disagree with that logic, I also try to buyer better quality cables (per my perception and reading reviews), for example but afaik they are all made in China.

In your end, if that's your opinion, it's fair game, since you have to decide what you want to buy. I am not trying to convince you of it, just sharing the deal. I do own 1 of their other products for 2+ years now and have phone and laptop plugged in it for weeks at a time, and no issues (but of course, my personal experience is my own)

It's funny how we want good quality for cheap then we find it and we instantly yell out China. You can't always expect cheap to last forever.
