Personally I wouldn't think so, though I haven't used them for that. These muffs amplify sounds like talking and other ambient noises but reduce the sonic crack of bullets being fired. I think standard earplugs or muffs would be better.
I would think so. I use a pair for my daughter at the movie theater, dampens the sound and she can adjust the volume so that the sound is comfortable for her.

No. These will not make music sound good. There are noise reducing ear plugs that only lower volume without sacrificing sound specifically made for concert and clubs. Look for Hifi ear plugs. Personally, I use one of those under these headsets when I go indoor shooting as it still lets in voice as supposed to earplugs that muffles sound all across.
I would use something like this when hearing music as intended without sacrificing quality. Also doesn't look weird with big headphone and just disappears in your ear. https://a.co/d/28hzwml
I paid about $40 for mine which I thought was a decent price at the time. I have yet to change the battery. Had them since 2021, but I only use them about an hour or so at a time.

I second this. Not quite enough for an indoor range.
Fully agree. Wife and I each use these. We both double up indoors.
