The fan I got from a recent Target eBay deal was missing the remote, so don't count on that being in the box. They did offer a return or $5 refund. I took the refund.

I had the unfortune to buy a Lasko oscillating heater a few years back. From what I see in the pictures this one looks like a close cousin. The price was about the same in a pre-season sale.
That was one of the worst heaters I have ever bought. It was noisy, much noisier in rotating mode, changing the temp produced a very LOUD beep at every degree change (nondefeatable feature). The remote was poorly designed, not lighted, with no tactile feel of buttons, and totally impossible to use at night. An overall nightmare.

Got rid of Lasco at the first opportunity and bought Dyson. One of the best choices I've ever made.

Does the Dyson have a smart phone app for controls and scheduling? Also, did the Dyson cost $20?

JFC people sure are picky over a space heater shipped to your door for $20.
