I would buy the cpu/mb/ram bundle for $249. And add a rx6600 for $189. Save $25 and I'm my opinion have a better rig.
This is a fully gameable setup out of the box, this GPU in late games is in the ballpark of the 6700xt and the 3060, both which are over half the price of this bundle. The 12600KF a value darling. Z790. The stinker is the DDR4 but if actually on a budget - or if your current older rig is already DDR4 and you can use that to juice what this comes with - so much the better. You could build a very nice custom $700 PC with this as your base and that doesn't happen so often anymore with all new parts.

Maybe close to a 4060 or a 3060 Ti but nowhere near a 4070.

Mean to say 4060, but on 4k settings, it does get awfully close to 4070 in a few games

So you'd prefer they start selling cards at $700+ and directly compete with nVidia/AMD?
Because that's what you're asking for.
