it's great for speaker ANC with a smartphone
to run their app, but i would not use it for making
phone calls as the mics have limited pickup
unless you are in a very quiet location.

i highly recommend changing the tips to;

they sound seal better and the XL in my L ear
have never fallen out with zero canal pressure.
psa: these do NOT have aptX bluetooth support,
they only have less commonly used Sony LDAC.
i used these with the android 12 bluetooth and
am satisfied with the sound and transmission.
i recommend doing the firmware update that
the app will push out to the buds on request.

the "short & fat" a40's fit my ear well, so i'd be more interested in
getting A3i if they can noticeably pick up voice calls better,
which i doubt because neither has a mic stem like the p40i.
