If you need a tent to assemble itself instantly because you don't have time then you're probably camping wrong.
Most affordable house 🏠 ⛺️ on the market.
Have this tent and went through some weather with it. We were camped at a state park on the Florida panhandle. Storm rolled in, tornado warning on all our phones at 4am. Crazy winds. One of the poles bent and cracked. They are metal poles and sections slide into the next. It creased at the joint and the interior pole did break. Still fits together, but I have to support that joint. Zip tie something to bridge it.
I wish they had another rafter pole for the cabin part. In heavy rains the rain fly can sag there.
Otherwise a nice and roomy tent

Does this one have a rain flap? Bought a similar one last year, and all the little patio is nice, when it rains it pours inside and the water just collects on the floor.

Mine came with a storm drain that empties into a fountain
where a little boy pees on an old man on a wrecked bicycle.
Can we set it and leave it for few days ..can it withstand the weather

- Let's say, you want to camp with family, bring all three then.
- Camp with your significant other, bring one
- Camp with a buddy or two, bring two.
- Snow camping, maybe?
- If one breaks, well you still have two.
- Do you want to kayak or bike to your camp site to Angel Island? Bring one.
- Do you want to do a 3 day hike to Mt Whitney? Split the 9lb weight of one tent with a buddy.
But if you need a McMansion, then that 8 person will do the trick.

Costco has a tent this size that's instant
3-4 means comfy for 1-2 so..... no that wouldn't serve the same purpose at all (assuming anyone looking at an 8 person tent wanted space and company)

But yeah... Instant up tents some nice but when the weather gets bad they tend to shake rattle and roll.
