One downside to many dual monitor stands like this is that there are arms that bend. If your desk is against a wall, your monitors have to sit pretty far forward. You need to pull the desk away from the wall to bend the arms back to push the monitors back. Does that make sense?
With this one, the arms go straight out to the sides, so the monitor can sit back further if your desk is against a wall.
I have a $200 monitor stand I got from work but my monitors have to sit so far forward in the middle of my desk. This will be a great replacement for $14! Hopefully they work

My arms are pretty stretched out because my monitors are big, so I can't comment on how much the bent arms stick out.
I have a sit to stand desk. So my desk moves around a bit, and these arms hold the monitors very steady.
