Its most likely with how recent this game released that the keys were sourced through the publisher, the publisher should be giving money to the dev, and it should be a similar cut as to buying on steam, but I cant tell you how much goes with out seeing their contract. But the same may be true for direct purchases on steam, I believe if there is a publisher they receive the payment and then cut the developer a check on their percentage of the net/gross.
Also I am fairly certain that cdkeys sources the keys themselves, vs sites like eneba where the keys are mostly (all?) sold by third parties, and eneba takes their cut in the form of service fees on the buyers end (they may also charge a fee on the sellers end, but I do not know for certain)
