Note: Includes a 1-Year Allstate Warranty + a 5-Year Warranty from the Reseller.
The last one of these I got had 5.5 years of use. I'm still not sure if it's a slick deal or not. I know I wouldn't pay anywhere near as much if buying off Craigslist.

I picked one up in a previous SD and the drive was DOA. They accepted that it was ticking and no further troubleshooting was needed. They sent a pretty quick response and prepaid USPS label and off it went. Let's see how it comes back.

Agreed, unless the Craigslist offer was to essentially have an He12 drive for 5 years with minimal (this is the key, isn't it) hassle or effort. Those are two very different deals.
Purchased 3 of these last times they were 79.99, purchased another last week because one of the drives I shucked from an external enclosure is starting to go downhill. All of them were good. I've also messaged with the seller and they are pretty responsive.
Originally was hesitant to purchase "refurb" drives, but there was a lot of positives shared from people with experience dealing with Goharddrive and serverpartdeals which changed my mind.
They worked for my use case, but, buy at your own risk or preferably don't by and drive down the price so I can scoop them up at a lower price 😅

Same here.Worked long enough to format it but started clicking bad within 5 minutes when i tried moving a few TB to test it and then disconnected from system. RMA process was easy with prepaid label. I use these drives to serve frequently accessed data that is backed up on newer drives so with 5 year warranty I don't care if they die.
i like the MDD 14TB from them. They reset the hours, or if not, it always has less than 150 power hours and 0 hours. I bought so many drives from them; both Dbsky and GoHarddrive are reputable sellers/Resellers.

this is probably paid and i wouldn't buy this unless it was $74.99 or less. that would be a sick deal. this price is now the everyday price.
That's about right for any drive
