extremely outdated bike, and definitely not a mountain bike. all of the geometry is wrong. its basically a hybrid which is fine, but i think you could get better components on a hybrid at a local bike shop bike.

I use to think road cyclist were the most arrogant and elitist of all athletes. Mountain bikers have now taken that over. Needing 10k dollar full suspension rigs to make up for lack of skill I guess. This is a perfectly fine trail bike.

Let's not forget that they're now riding battery assisted eBikes. Road cyclists are still relatively purists and haven't jumped onto the eBike trend.

Apples to oranges. Mountain bikers use ebikes to get up the hill so they can enjoy the downhill. I don't personally own any ebikes, but the application of ebikes on offroad trails and on the road are different.
