Why is it better suited for PC? Always played the XCOM game on console and they were really good.

For JA3 just think keyboard and mouse works better. It also has a lot of mods, new characters, guns etc. and with Steam you can add and delete mods with a button click, it's great.
I have only played on Xbox series X and it's pretty good. Couple of crashes, the menus take a bit to figure out with controller, but if you are interested I would give it a shot, no glaring negatives, it's a fun game.
